What we collect, and what we do not

Who we are

Applylog is operated by Yalla Labs LLC. If you want your data changed or deleted, or you have a question this page does not answer, email hello@applylog.co.

What we collect

Your account. Your email address, and your name if you give one. This is how you sign in and how reminders reach you.

Your applications. Everything you record about a job you applied to: company, role, link, status, dates, salary range, contacts you enter, and your own notes. This is the product.

Your settings. Time zone, whether reminders are on, and your plan.

Payment records. If you subscribe, we store a Stripe customer reference and your plan. We never see or store your card details. Stripe handles the payment itself.

Basic usage analytics. Aggregate page views through Vercel Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you.

What we deliberately do not keep

If you forward a job confirmation email to your private Applylog address, we read it once to pull out the company and the role, create the application, and then discard it. The body, subject and sender are never stored. All we keep is the message identifier, so that the same email forwarded twice does not create two entries.

Those emails often contain other people's names and contact details, and those people never signed up for anything here. Not keeping them is the point. Note that our email provider, Resend, does retain the message on their side under their own policy.

The browser extension

The extension reads the job page you are looking at only when you click its icon. There is no background script watching your browsing, and it has no permission to access job sites on its own.

When you click save, it sends the company, role, link and salary range to your own Applylog account and nothing else. It does not read other tabs, track which sites you visit, or send anything anywhere else.

It signs in by handing your existing Applylog session to the extension once, from a page on this site. It never sees your password. Removing the extension removes that stored session with it.

Who else touches your data

We use a small number of providers, each for one job. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.

• Supabase stores the database and handles sign-in.
• Vercel hosts the site and provides the analytics.
• Stripe processes payments.
• Resend sends reminder emails and receives forwarded ones.

How long we keep it

Your applications stay until you delete them or close your account. Delete your account and we remove your profile and everything attached to it. Backups roll off within 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will do it. If you are in the UK, the EU, or another place with similar law, those rights are yours by statute and this paragraph does not limit them. Email hello@applylog.co and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

Applylog is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or who we share it with, we will say so on this page and update the date at the top.
